Fitz heads back to his cottage to speak with Starling and confront her. They argue but put it aside to speak of the political issues embroiling the Six Duchies regarding the Old Blood and Wit. Restating that he is done laying with her while she is married, Fitz sparks Starling's anger. She lashes out at both Fitz and Hap on her way out.

My take on Starling(ep 251) her thinking she is barren has affected her self worth. Who would love her or want her. Fitz knew her secret and still wanted her. She is a wanderer because she thinks she cannot have children. Coming back to Fitz even tho now married does feel comfortable and in her way she does love and care for Fitz. I think that is why she gave Hap to Fitz.
