Ep. 220 - Ch. 16 Ship of Destiny - Tintaglia's Bargain

The Tenira, Khuprus, Vestrit, and Kelter families all gather in the night for their final meal. The Chalcedeans have attacked Bingtown and there's not much hope for salvation except for what flies on wings. Tintaglia comes to Bingtown to deliver her instructions and Selden Vestrit sings praises to strike a bargain.

Ep. 221 - Ch. 17 Ship of Destiny - Bingtown Negotiations

In the aftermath of the Chalcedean attack on Bingtown, the citizens gather to await a deal from Tintaglia, the dragon. The Old Traders, New Traders, Tattooed, and Three Ships immigrants all argue about what to do when Tintaglia appears. Reyn cautions everyone against dealing with her, but his mother, Jani, strikes a deal on behalf of the town. All goes well until Malta is brought up and a second deal is made.

Captain Kennit has learned of the Paragon sailing into Divvytown, and Wintrow learns that his aunt Althea is trying to get Vivacia back. Malta, in the meantime, is still in Chalcedean hands but is trying to stabilize her position. She starts to use Satrap Cosgo's position to demand better treatment.

Ep. 223 - Ch. 19 Ship of Destiny - Strategies

Althea Vestrit and Brashen Trell are recovering on board Paragon after Lavoy's betrayal. She comes to a decision to try and treat with Captain Kennit to win back Vivacia. In Bingtown, Serilla is establishing boundaries Mingsley and solidifying her status as an ally to the fledgeling city. Once again, Reyn doesn't know how to feel, but is determined to hold Tintaglia to her word and save Malta.

Ep. 224 - Ch. 20 Ship of Magic - Prisoners

Reyn Khuprus and Tintaglia prepare to leave Bingtown to search for Malta. The Rain Wilder, through the dragon connection, once again reaches out to Malta, and they find out she's on a ship heading to Jamaillia. However, pirates flying Kennit's raven flag capture Malta and Satrap Cosgo, changing their course.

Ep. 225 - Ch. 21 Part 1 Ship of Destiny - Paragon of the Ludluck

Althea and Brashen get ready to negotiate with Kennit when Vivacia is spotted. But Kennit, upon seeing Paragon, has plans to silence his past once and for all. According to Amber, the serpents, the Vestrits, and the Ludlucks all come together to decide what the future will look like.

Ep. 226 - Ch. 21 Part 2 Ship of Destiny - Paragon of the Ludlucks

The serpents start to question Bolt/Vivacia's orders and speak with Paragon. They leave the area, allowing Kennit to swoop in and fight Brashen's crew. Kennit and Paragon reuinte and say one last goodbye. Everything is looking up for Kennit, except the rescue of Althea Vestrit throws a wrench in his plans.

Ep. 227 - Ch. 22 Ship of Destiny - Family Reunion

In the aftermath of the battle on Paragon, Wintrow is plagued with doubts and worries over his split loyalties. Paragon is still determined to die while his crew, Amber, and his dragons struggle to live. Althea wakes up inside Vivacia and is comforted by a conniving and suave Kennit.

Ep. 228 - Ch. 23 Ship of Destiny - Flights

Reyn and Tintaglia grow closer together on their journey to find Malta. Reyn learns to share and Tintaglia talks about Elderlings. Malta, onboard the pirate ship Motley, is still trying to stay on Satrap Cosgo's good side by passing long his comfort demands to the captain. However, Captain Red is more interested in giving Cosgo to Kennit and pursuing Malta romantically than any demands Cosgo might have.

Selden is packing up to go to the Rain Wilds while Keffria and Ronica discuss the future of their house and how wise it is to let him go. Jani Khuprus has a few deals to offer and we wrap up some plot lines. We discuss Keffria's growing role in Bingtown politics, her maturation as a character, and her poor decisions.
